Clearview Testing Centers

Karyn Cherry

Therapist and Associate

Karyn Cherry

I have dual roles at Clearview, as a Marriage and Family Therapist Associate and Psychological Testing Associate. I received my Masters in Marriage Family Therapy with a concentration in Trauma Therapy from Abilene Christian University in 2019 and my undergraduate degree in Family and Community services from East Carolina University in 2002.

I am currently seeing clients via HIPAA-compliant Secure Video platform. I have found that clients enjoy meeting in this way due to the ongoing pandemic, they feel safe, are relaxed in their natural environment and are able to connect as they would in the office. Office visits will resume when deemed safe to do so based on government and CDC guidelines; video options will remain available.

Trauma has a profound effect on an individual and their loved ones and can affect every aspect of their lives. Typical clients are individuals, couples, and families who are seeking assistance with healing from trauma, improving family communication skills, creating boundaries and healthy relationships in order to live their best lives.

Therapy should be a collaborative process where you are guiding your healing process and I walk alongside you, providing interventions, strategies, and new skills to assist you in achieving your goals. Feel free to contact me to explore if we are a good fit to work together towards your healing!
